Job Title:

Social Media Specialist and Graphic Designer

This role combines the responsibilities of a social media specialist with those of a graphic designer, ensuring our brand maintains a strong online presence through engaging content and visually appealing graphics.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to reach target audiences across multiple platforms, including blog posts, tweets, status updates, pins, photos, and videos.
  • Create and manage business/partner presence across all social media channels, including blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube, while continually finding ways to improve metrics through testing and new initiatives.
  • Monitor and respond to mentions or comments about all brand pages, maintaining a strong understanding of the relationship between content and audience engagement.
  • Design graphical and video content using Adobe Creative Suite, staying up-to-date with industry innovations and competitors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal staff to ensure social media pages align with strategic approaches, providing regular progress reports and insights.
  • Maintain a high level of creativity and attention to detail in all aspects of job performance, from content creation to administration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing and Graphics Design, with a focus on creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.
  • 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing and graphic design, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven campaigns.
  • Adequate knowledge of paid social media advertising, email marketing, and SEO/SEM, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Fully conversant in Adobe CS6 (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop) and familiar with social media content distribution methods such as Hootsuite.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a passion for the brand and a great sense of humor.
