We're looking for a talented Power BI Backend Engineer to be part of our innovative team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers Power BI solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless data integration, optimization, and reliability.

Main Tasks:
  • Develop and maintain robust backend solutions to support Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Work closely with data analysts, business intelligence teams, and stakeholders to identify data requirements and develop technical specifications.
  • Improve the performance and scalability of existing Power BI data models and datasets.
  • Identify and resolve backend issues related to data connectivity, refresh failures, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard data privacy and adhere to industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with Power BI updates and industry best practices to enhance backend processes.
  • Collaborate with database administrators and IT teams to ensure smooth data source integration.
  • Document backend processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on Power BI backend features, as required.
  • Contribute to daily project and agile meetings, offering technical assistance for swift issue resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with the business regarding item status and blockers.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the data landscape within the organization.
