Logistics Coordinator Role

This position involves coordinating logistics by communicating with truck drivers and brokers. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating rates, securing loads, and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate rates with truck drivers to determine the best terms.
  • Use a CRM system to find and assign loads to truck drivers, ensuring efficient scheduling.
  • Negotiate with brokers and truck drivers to secure the best possible deals and conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with truck drivers and brokers over the phone and via email.
  • Accurately record all communications, rate agreements, and load assignments within the CRM and tracking systems.
  • Handle logistical challenges that arise, ensuring deliveries stay on schedule.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, especially in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Experience with CRM systems and logistics management.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or similar roles is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.

Working Conditions:

  • Night Shift Only: This role requires working exclusively during nighttime hours.
  • Office-based position with regular communication over phone and email.
