Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified academic professional to teach undergraduate students through lectures, small group discussions, practical demonstrations, and case studies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the field and be able to provide engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Research:
  • Design and deliver high-quality teaching materials, including slides, specimens, video clips, and published papers to enhance student learning.
  • Conduct formative assessments of students and provide constructive feedback to improve their understanding and performance.
  • Promote academic excellence by organizing and monitoring departmental research activities.
  • Contribute to the field's body of knowledge by publishing research findings in reputable journals.
  • Maintain accurate records of teaching materials and propose curriculum updates to reflect recent developments in the subject.
  • Evaluate student understanding through the development and administration of MCQs and OSPEs.
  • Train and develop demonstrators and support staff to ensure effective academic support.
  • Participate in workshops and training programs to stay updated on best practices.
  • Management and Leadership:
  • Contribute to the organization and administration of the department, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication.
  • Foster a culture of integrity and responsibility among junior doctors and students.
  • Implement decisions, traditions, and values of the institution, working proactively towards its vision and mission.
  • Organize and promote co-curricular and support activities for students.

Additional Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to perform any duty assigned within the scope of this job, contributing to the overall success of the institution.
