About the Role

The Education Counsellor will provide exceptional guidance to international students, helping them find institutions that match their learning and career goals. This includes providing students with accurate information and advice on study opportunities, local education systems, cultures, and geographic regions. The role also involves assisting with application documentation, facilitating enrolments, and promoting relevant products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive achievement of pipeline goals, customer satisfaction, and advocacy targets through each stage of the student journey, including promoting essential products and services, managing leads and successful applications, seeking referral opportunities, and participating in event and lead-generating activities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to students, their families, and education providers throughout the process, including engaging in planning activities to build student engagement, providing clear information about admissions processes and qualification options, and proactively engaging with students and education providers regularly.

Requirements

  • Experience in a sales or customer service-driven environment, including achieving individual and team-based targets.
  • A good understanding of the education sector, including the placement of students into VET and universities, immigration requirements, and processes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or prior experience working as an Education Counsellor or similar role.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, including fluency in English, both verbal and written.
