We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Engineer with 2 years of experience to contribute innovative solutions in the field of medical devices maintenance.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and maintaining biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance. This includes conducting field service and repairs on-site or remotely as needed, managing medical equipment inventory, including procurement and disposal, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement equipment maintenance strategies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and maintain biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance, troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the process.
  • Conduct field service and repairs on-site or remotely as needed, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Manage medical equipment inventory, including procurement and disposal, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement equipment maintenance strategies, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
  • Analyze technical data and identify areas for improvement, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field, with a strong foundation in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and think critically.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Certification in Biomedical Equipment Technology (CBET) is an asset, but not required.
