Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our quality assurance team as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist. This key member will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and reliability of our platform.

This challenging position involves designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.

  • The successful candidate will execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality, performance, and security.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the application can handle expected user loads.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in software testing with a focus on both manual and automated testing.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in testing methodologies and best practices.
    • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
    • Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python for writing test scripts.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively report issues and collaborate with team members.
