Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Controller to oversee our general accounting operations. This role requires controlling and verifying financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transaction Management: Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivables, including ledger management.
- Reporting and Analysis: Produce error-free accounting reports, analyze financial information, and summarize financial status to inform business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Leadership: Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of tasks.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Goal Setting: Participate in the department's goal-setting process, contributing to the development of strategic objectives.
- Tax Compliance: Assist with tax audits and tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Close Process: Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, with knowledge of GAAP principles and familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Awareness of current business trends and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, to analyze and present complex financial data.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field, with relevant certifications a plus.
