Tech Procurement Specialist

Reporting to the Manager Procurement (Technical), you will be responsible for the procurement of technical goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
  • Manage the bidding process, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms.
  • Monitor and analyze vendor performance, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and internal customers.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain.
  • Accredited procurement and supply chain certifications preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in procurement, with a focus on technical goods and services.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
