Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen our QA team. As an integral part of our Quality Assurance group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Automation Scripts: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for various applications and systems.
  • Integrate Automated Tests into CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automated tests into our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure seamless testing and deployment.
  • Maintain Existing Automation Test Frameworks and Test Suites: Enhance and maintain existing automation test frameworks and test suites to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform Regression, Functional, Smoke, API, and Performance Testing: Perform various types of testing to identify and fix issues.
  • Analyze Test Results and Identify Issues: Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
  • Document Test Progress and Defects: Document test progress and defects using tools like JIRA or similar.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering: Possess a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ Years of Experience in Automation Testing: Have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency with Automation Tools: Be proficient with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
  • Experience with Scripting Languages: Have experience with scripting languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Familiarity with Test Frameworks: Be familiar with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, PyTest.
