Financial Planning and Control Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Planning and Control Specialist to join our team. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day financial operations within the company, including cash management, payroll, invoicing, and other transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management and monitoring of accounting systems, as well as report accurate financial results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations, including cash expenses, payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
  • Experience in spearheading complete finance and accounting functions.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
  • Understanding of United States incorporation accounting and tax is a plus.
  • Experience in handling financial closure of books, budgets, income tax, service tax, excise & taxation, companies act etc.
  • Getting assessments completed under various acts, getting statutory and internal audits done.
  • Strategic financial control, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with private limited company regulations and internal audits.
  • Manage tax compliance for withholding, income, and sales tax.
  • Budget allocation to marketing teams for new customer acquisitions via online advertising.
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision-making.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports as necessary.
  • Making and closing of accounts as per Pakistan law.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Present financial reports to CEO.
  • Client billing and invoices, manage client accounts.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with a software house is must.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a finance role with an IT company/software house.
  • Ability to manage finance department alone.
  • Strong grip with QuickBooks is mandatory.
  • Leadership skills and experience along with employee management.
  • Understanding of data privacy standards.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Deep understanding of business principles and practices.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Very sharp in Excel, data processing, and business intelligence.
