Job Title: Logistics Operations Coordinator

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Logistics Operations Coordinator.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing logistics operational functions, including interaction with Ground Handling Agents (GHA) for both import and export cargo. They will ensure proper operational support to enable the station to meet its cargo target.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with local GHA and Head Office Cargo department to provide high-quality service for import and export cargo.
  • Support import customers with clearance of their cargo and liaison with customs authorities to facilitate smooth and timely import clearance.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to ensure shipments are transferred, delivered on time, and priority is given to shipments for maximum utilization of space on aircraft.
  • Coordinate with Cargo Claims Supervisor at Head Office to handle discrepancies and administrative issues related to stations.
  • Maintain strict control and administration of ULD stock and cargo stationary in coordination with GHA.
  • Disseminate cargo-related information to customers regarding customs, governmental, and health authorities' rules, and update HO to comply with regulations.
  • Ensure notifications are sent officially on cargo arrival information to Freight forwarders/agents to avoid damages and ensure space availability at the warehouse.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, or as needed services reports, including system accounting updates on every flight departure.

Critical Skills:

  • High School qualification with minimum 1 year of job-related experience.
  • Computer literate and good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cargo sales is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of TATA/TACT Regulations.
  • Good command of the English language.
