We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as Backend Engineers, responsible for developing and maintaining our video streaming and processing applications. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in designing and implementing server-side web technology stacks, providing API to the front end, back, and front channel integrations with external systems.

Our systems enable customers to deliver Live as well as On-Demand Video Streaming to their audience, store and share multimedia content, and perform Video and Audio Analysis using Machine Learning. We provide Video Content Management systems to Fortune 5000 companies across the globe and are recognized in Gartner's Magic Quadrant.

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for creating Web Application server stacks that power our various products, ensuring scalability, elasticity, and security. You will also collaborate with Product Analysts, Web Engineers, and other Front and Back end engineers to provide necessary support for building new features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement server-side web technology stacks that provide API for various products and integrations.
  • Develop and enhance back-end processing pipelines to meet evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide necessary support for building new features.
  • Secure and ensure the back-end stack is scalable, elastic, and can support millions of concurrent users.
  • Perform unit and integration testing of developed modules and systems.
  • Conduct peer code reviews to improve code quality.
Requirements:
  • Must have experience working with at least one server-side technology for developing web applications.
  • Should have knowledge of designing scalable applications and implementing design patterns and logic development.
  • Proficient in .NET, Java, or other relevant frameworks.
  • 06-07 years of relevant experience in software development.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET Core, libraries in .NET, and Windows services.
  • Experience with SignalR, gRPC, or WebSockets.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google PaaS Services.
  • Knowledge of system-level programming, such as sockets, multi-threading, or designed distributed applications.

Education: BS/BSc or above in Computer Science.

Additional Requirements: Good English language verbal and writing communication skills, ability to work independently, and a go-getter attitude.
