Teaching Position in English at NUST

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor of English.

This is a full-time position based in Quetta at the NUST Baluchistan Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students, as well as conducting research and contributing to the department's academic programs.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a PhD in the field of English from a recognized university. They must also have relevant publications and experience as per HEC criteria for faculty appointments.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Doctoral Degree: PhD in English from a recognized university
  • Publications: Relevant publications in the field of English
  • Experience: Experience as per HEC criteria for faculty appointments

The selected candidate will be required to provide scanned copies of their academic and professional documents, including their last education certificate/degree, which must be attested/verified by HEC. Candidates with a 3rd Division in their academic career or a weak academic profile may not be considered eligible. Additionally, NUST employees with less than one year of service or without an NOC from their Head of Institution are ineligible.

Candidates pursuing the required degree, medically unfit candidates, or those serving in government or armed forces without NOC may not be eligible. Late or incomplete applications will be ignored, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests/interviews; no TA/DA will be provided.
