  • We are seeking a diligent and skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
  • They will create detailed and well-structured test cases and scripts to thoroughly validate software functionality, execute test cases, document results, and provide detailed reports on identified defects and issues.
  • The Quality Assurance Specialist will also design and implement automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency, conduct regular regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features after code changes, and log, track, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • In addition, they will work closely with developers to understand software architecture and facilitate effective communication regarding testing requirements, and design and execute performance testing to ensure software scalability and responsiveness.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • The ideal candidate should have 1.5-2 years experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role in a tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies is essential.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases is necessary.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is also preferred.
