In this exciting role as a Financial Analyst - Audit and Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data for our clients. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in conducting thorough audits of financial statements and identifying discrepancies or irregularities.
About the Role:
You will work closely with our diverse clientele, providing comprehensive audit services and insightful financial analysis to support their growth and success. Your ability to build rapport and trust with clients will be crucial in fostering strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough audits of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Perform compilation procedures on financial documents, applying meticulous attention to detail and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Identify and analyze discrepancies or irregularities in financial records, offering strategic insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze financial data with a critical eye, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit working files and financial statements, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or actively pursuing.
- CA/ACCA/ACMA certification or actively pursuing certification is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in public accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (CaseWare and QuickBooks Online) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a passion for problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
