Teaching and Research Position
The Department of Emergency Medicine at a prestigious institution is seeking an experienced professional to join our faculty as a teaching and research assistant. About the Role

This position involves undertaking independent consultant work, including teaching, research, and administrative duties. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students, conducting research that advances the field of emergency medicine, and contributing to the department's strategic objectives.


Responsibilities
  • Undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including curriculum development and delivery.
  • Conduct research in emergency medicine, with a focus on generating impactful publications and presentations.
  • Participate in specified administrative activities, such as committee membership and project leadership.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong academic background in emergency medicine, including a structured postgraduate training program from a reputable institution. You should possess FCPS in Emergency Medicine, MRCP, American Boards, or equivalent qualifications, along with substantial postgraduate experience at a recognized facility.

  • At least 2 years of experience at the level of Senior Instructor or equivalent.
  • A major contribution in two or more papers in peer-reviewed journals is mandatory.

For Senior Instructor:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a fellow/instructor/equivalent in a reputable institution.
  • A contribution of two papers in peer-reviewed journals is preferable.
