Geomechanics Specialist

As a Geomechanics Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing geomechanical models that enhance our understanding of rock mechanics. This involves analyzing and interpreting various subsurface datasets, including seismic data, well logs, well tests, image logs, mud logs, and drilling reports.

• A university degree in petroleum engineering, civil engineering, or a related field with strong technical capabilities in geomechanics and extensive industry experience.
• At least five years of experience in geomechanics, with expertise in building geomechanical models and working with software such as Techlog, Petrel, or similar.
• Prior experience in 1D geomechanical modeling and a strong background in geophysics are highly desirable.
• You possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Strong knowledge of geological and geotechnical principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge to complex problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• A self-motivated individual with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
