As a Factory Engineering Manager at Unilever, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal utilization of assets across our manufacturing sites. This includes developing and implementing plans to improve site infrastructure, working collaboratively with operations managers to enhance site and line efficiencies, and leading project execution to meet business objectives.
Key responsibilities include creating and implementing plans to continuously improve site infrastructure needs, working closely with Division Engineering and Design Company to land Standard Design/Best Practice/New technology into projects, and delivering project FEED design, Detailed design, Construction, Equipment Installation and commissioning, startup and handover On Time In Full.
You will also be responsible for managing contractors to deliver daily on-site construction jobs as per master schedule, supporting innovation delivery as part of regional network, and leading the Innovation implementation on the site. Additionally, you will partner with SU and business partners to plan and manage BPC Capex and ensure forecast accuracy and drive CAPEX Efficiency by external in, benchmarking and value engineering.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years' experience within relevant Make Roles, excellent communication skills and team working ability at all levels, and relevant experience in a managerial role in a high-volume manufacturing or similar environment (FMCG).
