We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to spearhead our QA efforts and ensure the delivery of exceptional software products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in software quality assurance and a passion for driving continuous improvement in the QA process.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to review product requirements and provide early feedback on potential quality risks. This includes performing regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing across web and API layers.
The role involves conducting root cause analysis of production issues and supporting post-release testing. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for owning quality metrics for their team and ensuring traceability from requirements to defects.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review product requirements and identify potential quality risks.
- Perform thorough testing of software applications across multiple layers.
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and support post-release testing activities.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics for the team and ensure traceability from requirements to defects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and release cycles.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
