We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmology Specialist to join our team at the Aga Khan University Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmic care, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

The successful applicant will be responsible for attending patients, conducting physical examinations, investigations, and providing treatment for common eye ailments. They will also be required to document patient findings, communicate with patients and their families, prescribe medication, and educate patients on preventive measures.

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of autonomy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have completed a postgraduate training program in ophthalmology and have subsequent clinical and teaching experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality ophthalmic care to patients
• Documenting patient information and communicating with patients and their families
• Prescribing medication and educating patients on preventive measures

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A structured postgraduate training program in ophthalmology
• Clinical and teaching experience of two to three years
• Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP)
