As a highly skilled DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in automating our development and deployment processes, improving system reliability, and ensuring the scalability of our infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

About this Role
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS.
  • Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (must have expertise).
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, including Rancher as a Kubernetes management platform.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using Datadog.
  • Collaborate with development and DEV/QA teams to support application deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Automate recurring tasks and operational processes using Python and Bash scripts.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of RDS/Aurora databases.
  • Apply best practices in system security and hardening (security knowledge is essential).
  • Maintain and optimize Linux-based systems for production environments.
  • Perform system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platforms.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 6+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, with a strong focus on cloud technologies.
  • Expertise in AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, EKS, and CloudFront.
  • Extensive experience with Terraform, including module development and remote state management.
  • Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Rancher or similar Kubernetes management tools.
  • Proficient in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
