We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design and build scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and Next.js.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience with these technologies and be proficient in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. They should also have a good understanding of object-oriented programming principles, MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new web applications
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications
  • Write and maintain clean, reliable code
  • Develop and maintain back-end components
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and Next.js (2 years)
  • Familiarity with other common libraries/frameworks
  • Good understanding of Ruby/JavaScript syntax and nuances
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful APIs
  • Proficient in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with development tools such as Webpacker, Babel, and Redis
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications
  • Ability to design database schemas to support business processes
