About the Role

This is a key leadership position in our engineering team, responsible for designing and deploying complex systems. The Systems Architect Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that system designs meet project requirements and are delivered on time.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive system designs that meet project objectives.
  • Lead a team of engineers to design and deploy system components, ensuring adherence to established methodologies and standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring that system designs are robust and reliable.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that system development meets quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Technical Competencies
  • Experience in design and deployment methodology (V cycle, SysML, requirement management).
  • Experience in software development in industrial environments, preferably in C++ or C#.
  • Familiarity with signalling systems (interlocking, ATC and ATS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of network and network protocols (OPC, SOAP, 0MQ, …).
  • Knowledge of technical elements linked to modern Railway Signalling (IP networks, embedded software, XML technology).
Soft Skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a proactive and positive approach.
  • Autonomy and proactivity are key success factors for this role.
  • Fluency in English language.
