Carbon Emissions Specialist

The role of a Carbon Emissions Specialist involves calculating Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions using recognized frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data collection and management:

  • Collecting sustainability and carbon emissions data from internal and external sources;

  • Maintaining data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems;

  • Updating sustainability data management tools and spreadsheets.

• Compliance and reporting:

  • Preparing data summaries and visualizations for ESG reporting;

  • Supporting responses to investor and stakeholder ESG information requests;

  • Staying informed about industry regulations and reporting frameworks.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in carbon accounting, ESG reporting, sustainability, or a related field;

2. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Analytics, or a related field;

3. Strong understanding of carbon accounting principles;

4. Proficiency in data analysis tools;

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy;

6. Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively;
