Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Lake. This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and transforming data from various sources for comprehensive analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design robust data pipeline solutions within Azure Data Lake
  • Integrate and transform data from diverse sources for actionable insights
  • Maintain data quality and integrity through governance practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions
  • Monitor and optimize data processing workflows for performance and reliability
  • Document processes and architecture for maintainability and scalability
  • Stay current with new Azure technologies and best practices

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with emphasis on Azure Data Lake
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and familiarity with Java or C#
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
