Security and compliance are crucial aspects of a tech-centric organization. We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to oversee the implementation and maintenance of our security framework.
Key Responsibilities- We will be looking for someone who can assist in strengthening our risk management processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and strategic objectives.
- This role requires expertise in designing and implementing information security controls, including policy development and documentation.
- The successful candidate will partner with Legal, HR, and other departments to support an effective privacy program.
- They will lead risk assessments and support efforts to achieve key certifications and attestations, such as ISO 27001 and AICPA SOC 2 Type 2.
- Our ideal candidate will have experience in managing security awareness training programs and collaborating with sales and customer success teams to address security concerns.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Information Security Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, and Privacy.
- In-depth knowledge of tech industry standards and regulations, particularly SaaS products.
- Experience in implementing regulatory and compliance frameworks, such as SOC2 and ISO27001.
- Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure technologies.
- Understanding of global data protection laws and associated frameworks.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Project Management, or a related field.
- Certifications like CISSP, CISM, Security+, CIPM, CIPP/E, PMP are desirable.
