Job Title: 3D Animator

Role Overview:

The 3D Animator is responsible for creating realistic and engaging animations that bring characters to life. This role involves working closely with a team of artists, leads, and supervisors to ensure that client requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Animates character actions, creatures, props, vehicles, and cameras in a cinematic style.
  2. Collaborates with 3D artists, leads, and animation supervisor to ensure client requirements are met.
  3. Creates scene layouts using a library of assets.
  4. Composes and animates cameras in a cinematic style.
  5. Works closely with the lead animator to ensure timely completion of character assets at the desired quality bar.
  6. Participates in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.

Requirements:

  • Experience in game development animating characters using Maya, Flash, Spine, After Effects, or equivalent 3D or 2D program.
  • Strong understanding of traditional animation principles and how they can be used to enhance gameplay and creative marketing trailers.
  • Self-motivation, great communication skills, and team player attitude.
  • Able to work creatively as part of a large or small group.
  • A passion for video games.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in FX and Particle animation.
  • Skill in one more related discipline: Modeling, rigging, or technical art.
  • Experience with Unity.

Work Schedule and Location: Onsite job in Islamabad, Pakistan.
