Loader Position in Warehouse Environment

This part-time position involves loading and unloading goods onto trucks and other vehicles. You will be responsible for inspecting goods for damage, sorting and organizing them, and ensuring they are securely packed for transport.

Main duties include:

  • Inspecting goods for damage before loading onto trucks or vehicles
  • Sorting and organizing items according to destination
  • Packing goods securely using appropriate materials (e.g. pallets, straps)
  • Operating forklifts or other machinery as needed
  • Maintaining inventory of loaded goods and reporting any discrepancies
  • FOLLOWING safety protocols when handling goods and equipment
  • Communicating with truck drivers to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a loader or in a similar role preferred
  • Able to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for counting and sorting goods
  • Familiarity with safety protocols for handling goods and equipment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Must be available to work on weekends and evenings as needed

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position based in Karachi, Pakistan. You will primarily work in a warehouse environment, but may also be required to load/unload vehicles outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role may involve standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects for extended periods of time.
