Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of financial regulations, and a proactive approach to improving business processes.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, sub-ledgers, and fixed asset schedules, maintaining data integrity and efficiency.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
  • Evaluate and improve accounting procedures and systems for effectiveness and accuracy, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, promoting knowledge sharing and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a mid-to-large-sized corporation.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in enterprise accounting software, such as Intuit Enterprise.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems and US taxation.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing financial reports, and leading close processes. Additionally, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate and improve accounting procedures, and provide guidance to junior staff.
