Job Title: Medical Laboratory Officer

**Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Officer to join our team in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. As a key member, you will be responsible for performing routine laboratory procedures, interpreting laboratory reports, and communicating with patients.

**Responsibilities**
  • Performing various laboratory tests and procedures as per established protocols.
  • Interpreting test results and communicating findings to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborating with laboratory staff to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
  • Participating in research activities under supervision to advance medical knowledge.
  • Evaluating patient samples and providing expert opinion on test results.
  • Providing on-call support as assigned to ensure continuity of services.

**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
  • A relevant medical degree (e.g., MBBS, FCPS part one) and a valid license to practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and reports.
