Event Driven Architecture Professional

We are seeking a skilled Event Driven Architecture Professional to lead the design and implementation of event-driven microservices, build cloud-native .NET applications, and configure Kafka clusters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement event-driven microservices using Azure Service Bus and Apache Kafka, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Implement asynchronous communication patterns with topics, queues, partitions, and event routing to optimize system performance.
  • Build and deploy cloud-native .NET applications following CQRS and event sourcing principles, leveraging cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Configure, optimize, and monitor Kafka clusters, utilizing Azure Service Bus features like dead-lettering and message sessions for efficient data processing.
  • Set up tracing, logging, and monitoring using Azure Monitor, Kafka metrics, Prometheus, Grafana, and Application Insights to ensure system visibility and control.
  • Deploy services with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS), and autoscale with KEDA, collaborating on CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery.
  • Enforce security and governance, including encryption, access control, audit logging, and schema validation, to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity.
  • Maintain documentation and mentor teams on event-first design principles, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the organization.
  • Optimize infrastructure usage and event processing pipelines for scalability and cost-efficiency, continuously improving system performance and reducing operational costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on expertise in Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Apache Kafka.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET technologies (C#, Web API).
  • Deep understanding of messaging patterns, CQRS, and event sourcing.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and autoscaling via KEDA.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability in distributed environments.
  • Strong security knowledge in event-driven ecosystems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience defining enterprise event taxonomies and schemas.
  • Ability to mentor development teams in event-driven design.
  • Familiarity with Protobuf, Avro, or Kafka Schema Registry for contract validation.
  • Experience collaborating with product teams to decouple systems via events.
  • Background in reactive principles and guiding cross-functional teams.
