As a seasoned Python developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF). Additionally, you will optimize database performance by leveraging query optimization techniques. You will also build scalable background task processing systems utilizing Celery and RabbitMQ.

You will deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, configuring pipelines for CI/CD in Azure DevOps. Furthermore, you will set up monitoring and logging systems to ensure seamless operation of the application. Your expertise in implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep will be valuable in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • API Development: Design and develop RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF)
  • Database Performance Optimization: Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/MySQL) with query optimization techniques
  • Background Task Processing: Build background task processing (Celery/RabbitMQ)
  • Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions)

Containerization & Scalability

  • Dockerization: Dockerize Django applications for containerized deployment
  • Kubernetes Orchestration: Orchestrate with Kubernetes (AKS) for scalability
