Job Title:

Ruby on Rails Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Ruby language and object-oriented programming principles, as well as experience with RSpec or similar testing frameworks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code, developing scalable and secure features using Ruby on Rails, and integrating front-end elements with server-side logic.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
  • Solid understanding of Ruby language and OOP principles
  • Experience with RSpec or similar testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
  • Experience in building interactive, user-focused web applications
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
  • Understanding of MVC, ORM, RESTful APIs, and design patterns
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Experience with code linters, performance monitoring, and debugging tools
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
