**Job Title:** Accounts Manager

Job Overview:

Mahee International is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join its team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Authorise vouchers, double entries, and maintain accounting database entries in the accounting software.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Overlook and report daily bank positions, ensuring timely reconciliations.
  • Fulfil periodic bank and accounts reconciliation duties.
  • Monitor cash movement, including petty cash, to prevent discrepancies.
  • Prepare and execute accounts payables/receivables, ensuring timely payments.
  • Manage billing, purchasing, receipts, and expenses effectively.
  • Record and maintain all export and import transactions/remittances.
  • Process refunds and rebates efficiently.
  • Prepare and file FBR income tax, withholding tax, and sales tax returns accurately.
  • Prepare monthly payroll, adhering to company policies.
  • Organise documents, respond to government department notices, and handle bank correspondence.
  • Maintain knowledge of work related to SESSI & EOBI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounts from a reputable institution.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the accounts department of the textile sector or a related manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Urdu and English.
  • Strong responsibility, honesty, and ability to manage accounts independently.
