Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure automation system reliability and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, optimize system performance, and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, including upgrades, backups, and configuration activities.
  • Provide training and support to operations teams on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems.
  • Document all processes, configurations, and changes related to automation systems.
  • Prepare progress and root cause analysis reports.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working in automation as PLC/RTU Programmer and commissioning, preferably in Water and Wastewater projects, Oil & Gas, and Infrastructures.
  • Experience with PLC platforms (Schneider M580, Rockwell Control & Compact Logix) and RTUs (Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500, PCS-7).
  • Familiarity with open communication protocols (Modbus Serial, Modbus RTU, BACnet MSTP, OPC, MQTT, DNP3).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • UPDA holder.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
