We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails, AWS, and containerized environments.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable and scalable backend services in Ruby on Rails.

You will develop, deploy, and manage applications on AWS, optimizing for cost, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop backend services using Ruby on Rails.
  • Deploy and Manage applications on AWS, ensuring optimal cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with front-end and product teams to design APIs and ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve backend issues and improve the performance of existing services.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
  • AWS Services knowledge, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
  • Containerization and Orchestration Technologies experience, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • RESTful API Design and development skills, with GraphQL knowledge a plus.
  • Database Design and Management proficiency, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
  • Caching Mechanisms experience, including Redis and Memcached.
  • CI/CD Pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) knowledge.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills and ability to debug complex issues in a distributed system.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and a collaborative mindset.
