Bookkeeper Job Description
  • This role requires an individual with exceptional financial skills, strong organizational abilities and a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions on a daily basis, ensuring the integrity of company records.
  • Efficiently manage accounts payable and receivable to minimize costs and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain profit and loss statements and balance sheets to provide a clear picture of the company's financial health.
  • Precision is key when maintaining company ledgers, which must be free from errors and discrepancies.
  • Invoices must be processed accurately, with payments approved or denied in a timely manner to avoid delays.
  • Tax forms must be completed with precision, adhering to all applicable regulations and laws.
  • Data entry, record maintenance, and financial reporting are essential functions that require attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Accounts receivable/payable and payroll processing must be handled efficiently to ensure timely payments and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regular reconciliation of entries into the accounting system is crucial to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
  • Debits and credits must be recorded correctly to maintain a balanced financial position.
  • A thorough account reconciliation process is necessary to assess transaction accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with local laws is essential to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and regulations.
  • Monitoring variances from the projected budget requires close attention to detail and analytical skills.

Requirements:
