Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to manage our organization's network security systems, monitor security screens, and ensure the protection of sensitive data.

The role focuses on safeguarding our IT infrastructure, detecting potential security threats, and maintaining compliance with security standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and secure the company's IT networks, protecting systems from cyber threats, breaches, and unauthorized access.
  • Design and implement security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to address risks.
  • Monitor security dashboards and tools in real-time to detect and respond to potential threats and anomalies.
  • Manage incident response, investigating security breaches, and ensuring swift corrective action.
  • Evaluate and enforce compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Lead and train the cybersecurity team, keeping them updated on the latest security practices.
  • Collaborate with network and system administrators, as well as external vendors, to maintain a robust security posture.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security and monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, and security monitoring tools.
  • Experience with SIEM tools and network monitoring systems.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
