About the Role:
  • Ensure safe and efficient operations of natural gas flow measuring equipment installed and operated throughout the region.
  • Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of gas flow measurement stations to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Optimize resources to achieve departmental objectives and provide technical support to other regions as needed.
  • Manage calibration of metering instruments at Point of Delivery(s), Check Metering Station(s), and Sales Meter Station(s) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Routine verification and calibration of pressure and temperature transmitters throughout the region.
  • Install and commission new metering installations and/or upgrade existing setups in the region.
  • Ensure timely submission of field activity/maintenance activity reports and maintain documentation records.
  • Coordinate Joint Meter Check activities with the Distribution department for gas volume recorded at Sales Metering Stations.
  • Analyze data through remote monitoring systems to identify problems and implement corrective measures in a timely manner.
