Job Description:

The role of the Senior Legal Counsel - Contracts is to provide expert legal advice and guidance to various internal departments on contract terms, risk management, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and procurement contracts.
  • Ensuring contracts comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including PECA and international best practices.
  • Providing legal support and guidance to various internal departments regarding contract terms and risk management.
  • Liaising with internal / external stakeholders, including vendors, to resolve contract-related disputes, clauses negotiation or other issues.
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining standard contract templates and procedures.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • LL.B (required); LL.M or any other postgraduate legal qualification (preferred).
  • 5 years of relevant experience in contract law, commercial transactions, or corporate legal roles.
  • Experience within the telecom/IT sector is a plus.
