  • Develop prototypes and collaborate with the prototyping team for testing and evaluation.

Analysis and Optimization:

  • Perform engineering analysis (e.g., FEA, thermal analysis, stress analysis) to validate designs and improve performance.
  • Identify design flaws and optimize for manufacturability, durability, and cost reduction.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Communicate design specifications and updates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously improve designs based on feedback from testing, customers, and production teams.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for product innovation and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, ideally in Automotive Sector.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or similar).
  • Experience with FEA tools and simulation software.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
