Metal Fabrication Specialist

Job Role: Metal Fabricator

• Operate and maintain turning machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to determine correct settings and specifications for each job.
• Adjust machine controls and tooling as needed to achieve desired results.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct regular maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
• Keep accurate records of all jobs completed, including materials used and time taken.

This is a part-time position with accommodation provided. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Turner or similar role, knowledge of various turning machines, such as lathes, grinders, and mills, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods of time, and strong understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
