The role of Trainee Video Editor requires a detail-oriented individual who can assist in editing videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and categorize raw footage, select shots, and assemble scenes under the guidance of senior editors.

  • Add audio-visual elements such as music, graphics, animations, and effects to enhance video content.

  • Ensure all video assets meet brand guidelines and creative direction by applying knowledge of video editing software and motion graphics tools.

  • Manage media files and project archives, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of video editing trends and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and experience with motion graphics tools like After Effects is desired.

  • A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing editing capabilities, a keen eye for storytelling, and excellent organizational skills.

  • Degree/Diploma in Film Studies, Media, Communication, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
