Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our QA team as a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Software Engineer. Our software products require the highest standards of quality and reliability, and we are seeking a skilled professional to ensure they meet these expectations.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues in software applications through rigorous testing and collaboration with development teams. You will develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications, and perform manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, performance, and stability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Performing manual and automated testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and stability of software.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using issue tracking systems.
  • Collaborating with developers, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Conducting regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing.
  • Ensuring software meets quality standards and follows best practices in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Providing feedback on product usability and suggesting improvements.
  • Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA retrospectives.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with manual testing and automated testing tools.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, version control systems, and SQL queries.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
