Job Summary:

Our company seeks a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js and Angular, with a proven ability to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.

About the Job:

  • Solve complex technical challenges within your domain, providing high-quality code as a reference for junior engineers.
  • Take ownership of tasks, evaluate risks, and improve infrastructure and systems, leaving things in a better state than found.
  • Lead the design, coding, testing, and documentation of software solutions, researching and proposing technical innovations to meet project needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to propose solutions, participate in discussions, and mentor junior engineers, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Participate in interviews and onboarding, helping shape the team by bringing in new talent and ensuring adherence to standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test software solutions using Node.js and Angular.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on software development methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose solutions and drive product innovation.
  • Document design decisions and complex systems to share knowledge across teams.
  • Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align on product goals.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a proven ability to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Expertise in Node.js and Angular, with proficiency in Python and C++.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
  • Experience with system monitoring tools (Sentry, New Relic) and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for tackling complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting decisions and engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and delivering complex web applications.
  • Ability to own tasks, assess risks, and make strategic improvements.
  • Strong multitasking skills and effective prioritization in fast-paced environments.
