Technical Requirements

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing various application platform services. Your role will involve working closely with developers and other engineering stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of applications on our platforms.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of IT-related work experience.
  2. Strong system administration skills to manage servers and infrastructure components, including Linux/Unix commands, networking, security principles, and performance tuning.
  3. Proficiency in containerization concepts and technologies like Docker, including container creation, image management, Dockerfile creation, and docker networking.
  4. In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, including master and worker nodes, pods, deployments, services, and ingress. Ability to create k8s manifests, deploy and scale applications, manage secrets and configurations.
  5. Strong understanding of Jenkins and its core components, including familiarity with Jenkins architecture, installation, and configuration to administer and maintain the Jenkins infrastructure.
  6. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts, including build automation, version control, testing, and deployment processes.
  7. Proficiency in provisioning and managing cloud resources, configuring basic security measures, monitoring resource usage, and understanding fundamental AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.
  8. A good understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and ability to troubleshoot common network connectivity issues.
  9. The ability to write scripts to automate routine tasks.
  10. Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN, including understanding branching, merging, and managing code repositories.
  11. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for resolving issues related to application infra.
