Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and smooth supply chain processes.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a chemical warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of inventory control procedures and stock management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular physical counts, reconcile with software reports, and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Warehouse Operations: Strategically manage the warehouse, adhering to company policies and vision, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Receiving, Warehousing, and Distribution: Oversee all receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities to facilitate smooth supply chain management and minimize discrepancies.
  • Stock Control and Reconciliation: Manage stock control and reconcile with software to identify and rectify any discrepancies, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to facilitate seamless cooperation and collaboration.
  • Minimum Stock Levels: Maintain optimal minimum stock levels of all products to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Order Management: Place timely orders with factories and suppliers to avoid shortfalls and ensure a continuous supply of materials.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate regular reports and statistics, including IN/OUT status reports, dead stock reports, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Samples Preparation: Prepare samples according to standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Fuel Management: Monitor and manage fuel consumption, preparing reports related to fuel and vehicle maintenance to optimize resources.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum BA/B.Com. degree and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant warehouse experience, with a strong understanding of inventory control procedures and stock management practices.
