Senior Frontend React Developer Role

We're seeking a skilled Senior Frontend React Developer to join our team. As a key member of our tech team, you'll be responsible for building cutting-edge web applications using React.js.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Web Application Development: Develop high-performance, responsive web applications using ReactJS.
  • Code Maintenance: Write clean, maintainable code using ReactJS and associated frontend technologies.
  • Component Creation: Design and develop reusable React components and patterns to ensure consistency across the application.
  • Application Performance: Optimize application performance for fast rendering and efficient app performance across devices.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to implement user-facing features.
  • User Interface Implementation: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly user interfaces.
  • Testing and Debugging: Utilize unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, Mocha) to guarantee codebase quality. Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
  • Code Review and Mentorship: Perform code reviews, share expertise, and mentor junior developers on best practices and code quality.
  • Agile Methodology Participation: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment.
  • Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation for React application components and features.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in frontend web development, with at least 3 years specializing in ReactJS.
  • ReactJS Mastery: Proficiency in React.js, including hooks, context, and React Router.
  • JavaScript Expertise: Solid grasp of JavaScript ES6+, including promises, async/await, closures, and asynchronous programming.
  • State Management: Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or MobX.
  • Responsive Design: Proven ability to create responsive web applications using CSS3, SASS, or Styled Components.
  • API Integration: Ability to integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL to fetch and send data.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git for version control and collaboration (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with Jest, Enzyme, Cypress, or other frontend testing frameworks.
  • Build Tools: Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Babel, and task runners like Gulp or npm scripts.
  • Cross-browser Compatibility: Ability to ensure the application works across various browsers and devices.
  • UI/UX Understanding: Experience in collaborating with UX/UI designers to implement engaging user interfaces.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile development environment with regular sprint cycles.
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to troubleshoot and optimize web applications.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • TypeScript: Experience working with TypeScript to build scalable applications.
  • Server-side Rendering: Familiarity with Next.js for server-side rendering or static site generation.
  • CSS Frameworks: Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material-UI.
  • CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI).
  • Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for front-end hosting and deployment.
  • Design Systems: Experience with Design Systems and tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
