Python Software Development Lead

About the Opportunity

We seek a seasoned software development professional to lead our engineering teams in designing, coding, testing, and deploying high-quality Python applications.

This role requires a strong understanding of software engineering principles, experience with Agile methodologies, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead cross-functional teams in developing and delivering large-scale software systems.
  2. Design, implement, and maintain complex software applications using Python.
  3. Collaborate with engineers to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably in leadership roles.
  • Expertise in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications in Python.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban.
